Just downloaded ATR 72-500 to FSWX on Vista 64-bit machine.

Mistakenly loaded the ATR after bringing FSX up with default Level D-767 add-on.

Restarted with C-172 at DFW as default and toggled "Run as Administrator" on for Configuration manager and the changes were accepted (could not find the mentioned VirtualStores folder) but...

The VC cockpit textures are missing when the ATR comes up..  Changes from Config Mgr are applied and 2D version came up but VC cockpit is white only., with no panel data.

Please help. Thank you.

I think the problem is the Config Manager as not not all my inputs are saved and it creates to ATR.CFGs 1 in User\...\Appdata etc. and 1 in FSX\Flight One Software.

The ATR comes up as I would not have done and saved the configuration.

The FSX ATR doesn't just CTD my FSX, it causes a bluescreen and automatically reboots my whole system (because Vista's set to automatically reboot on bluescreen)... 

I also get the error 429 in the FS9 version configurator...  I tried downloading the dx7vb file mentioned, but my antivirus/firewall detected it as adware and automatically deleted it.  Tried downloading it again with the internet security turned off, and now that file is apparently no longer on the website...

So, it looks to me like I'm completely out of luck with the ATR, which I was really hoping to get back into after not using it since before buying this computer...

I did some more trials without success, reinstalled from save mode, used a different config, no success

It seems that the configuration does not do anything for the plane and yes I run it as admin and save before closing. Wether I try cold&dark, ready for taxi or ready for boarding the ATR comes up with no instruments and running engines.

The ATR installer and the license file are on c:\Fligh tOne Software

The atr.cfg is on C:\user\......\AppDat...

FSX is on D. and there is also the ATRWink

By the way the installer obviously installs multiple times but does it also do a valid installation or do I need to get a new installer from FlightOne?

Dans le FCOM, ATR72-500, on trouve une table( 3.02.02 p2), qui donne la valeur du couple au décollage en fonction des conditions du jour (Zp et SAT) et du réglage du conditionnement d’air.

Pourriez-vous me dire :

En  quoi ces informations sont utiles au pilote pour préparer son décollage, et suivre l'évolution de ce dernier en cas de panne moteur?

Quand consulte t-il cette table ?

I think I have done everything;

deinstallation as recommended here, reinstallation with all admin rights, SP1 for fsx ATR, registry fix, virus scanner disabled, .net framework 3.5.1

When I change plane in FSX it finds the ATR and loads it, but no instruments

(error gauges missing) and no Flight One Option on the addons.

Help would be really appreciated.

I am operating always Administrator of my PC, but the problem follows the same. I am not able to see any texture in the textures window of text-o-matic. Thanks for the quick answer. I try a search again, but I could only found one  and his problem was solved with the installation of the acceleration pack. So if someone has a solution, it would be great to post it here.

While I can not answer your question,

I have seen this subject many times in the forum. Do a search on your problem and you should find some answers. I believe it has to do with the install vs permissions and file locations vs virus protection. Good luck.
