Well, super set up, so everything should be ok in the power department. One other thing that may effect things:- The serial FMC/CDU - it may not like it.
Apart from that I can only think that the down load is broken. I am probably preaching to the converted so dont be insulted please. When down loading then installing was any of your security software running - even in the background? It is vital that all security - virus checker - UAC - firewall anything is turned completely off. Did you install by right click and selecting 'run as administrator'. Do you use Google Chrome? Now I am running out of ideas other than I have a few files that may help if installed.

Thanks for your assistance David.  First, yes I am using the "safe start up for complex AC".  Here are my system specs

Can you tell me please what the spec is of your processor and are you using the safe start up for complex aircraft- available on the first page of the forum?
Is this a disc or download?

I have long ago turned off UAC and I am not using DX10.  I have seen similar problems with gauges working on some AC but the ATR is completely absent of any gauges and only presents a shell of the cockpit completely void of any gauge at all.

Hi again. I feel I must point out that the recommended requirements to run this sim in FSX are:- 3Ghz. processor, 256Mb memory Video card & 1Gig Memory. I think that you main problem may be the processor speed. Try, in FSX to put all the sliders to the left and make sure that DX10 preview is not selected. If that makes it work experiment with gradually upping the sliders until it won't work again then ease them back.
