After installation into FSX only a unpainted (white body) appears.  Need help as to how to correct this?

There have been quite a few posts about this now, so I'll make this a sticky post.

Make sure Preview Direct X 10 is turned off in your FSX settings - the ATR is not compatible with Direct X 10.

Thanks for your prompt reply.  That solved the problem.  I don't recall any such info on the Microsoft site.  Either it is not there or I overlooked it.

And what do we do in case of Win 7 64?
I have 4.09.00.0904 Direct X version. Is this Direct x 9, I assume?

Win 7 is Direct X 11. The ATR  works ok with that. Just turn off Direct X 10 in FSX

Yes your right Win 7 is DX 11 Same as most up to date GPU's are DX 11, but Flight Sim aint. Anyway you should always have DX 10 turned off in FSX as it was never fully completed "That came from the developer of DX 10" It can help in some ways via scenery but for that very LITTLE extra bit, it costs you to much of a performance blow. Basically its just very buggy and not worth the sacrifice. Microsoft really messed it all up when they fired them great guys that was involved in the development of FSX. Its all up to us now to try squeeze that bit more out of it. Tweaking - addons etc etc. And we are doing it. Big smile

If you want to use the ATR in DirectX 10 preview mode, you can use a program called "Addon Converter X". It will solve the "texture" problem.
