The folder Panel Options within the Panel folder contains the original panel.cfg files for all panel variants. Each time you make a change in the configuration manager, the current panel.cfg is replaced by the original file from Panel Options.

This means, if you want to make any changes to the panel.cfg you have to make them to the original file too.

The format of the filenames in Panel Options is this: panel_<1>_<2><3>_<4>_<5>.cfg

Where the <x> are the parts that have to replaced like this:

<1>
Empty: VC enabled
novc: VC disabled

<2>
l: Captain's panel
r: First Officer's panel
w: Condensed view panel

<3>
Empty: Normal view
l: Landing view

<4>
Empty: 2D interior views enabled
n2d: 2D interior views disabled

<5>
Empty: Brown panel
Blue: Blue panel

Examples:
- panel_l.cfg is the brown Captain's full view panel with 2d interior views and VC active
- panel_novc_ll_n2d_Blue.cfg is the blue Captain's landing view panel with neither 2d interior views nor VC active
- panel_w_Blue.cfg is the blue condensed view panel with 2d interior views and VC active
- panel_rl_n2d.cfg is the brown First Officer's landing view panel with VC active but no 2d interior views.
