Hello to all pilot! I'm a newbie. I'm trying to complete tutorial n.1 but i have a problem: after my engine n.2 is in hotel mode, i can't activate ACW to enable Hyd Pumps. The lights on ACW Gen 1/2 is always FAULT Where is the mistake? Where I'm wrong? Thanks |

Hi az1304, Easy fix to your problem. ACW generators are only functional when at least one propeller is above 71% Np. With your #2 prop in hotel mode, the ACW generators are not available. If you need to "charge" your hydraulic system with engines off or in Hotel mode, you can push the DC Aux Hyd Pump pushbutton on the center pedestal. This will ensure that the Emer Brake accumulator is fully charged (3000psi) and will charge the blue system pressure for 30 seconds. With the prop brake engaged and only the #2 engine running, pushing this button will give you 30 seconds to disengage the prop brake. Hope this helps! Terry |
