Ok I've downloaded and installed the ATR. It told me to restart, which I did, and when I start FS, it begins to compile scenery, and at 24% it stops responding, and then it crahes with that dialog about error reports.  Here my system:

Inspiron 8200 Laptop

40 gig HD

ATI Radeon 9000 64 MB

dvd/cd-rw blah blah

512 mb ram

I'm running fs 9.1, and the latest FSUIPC.

You know what, never mind.   Somehow it got past the error and it works so far.  Sorry for the false alarm.

Hans says it has to do with FS rebuilding the scenery.dat after the timezones switched lastnight.

Had this on 3 machines today. All to do with the time change!

What does the end of daylight saving time have to do with our scenery files?
Faster, faster til the thrill of spead overcomes the fear of death.

Scenery is dependent on season, time of day, etc., and this is to be expected with FS2004. It has nothing to do with the ATR, just the change in the clock.
