The trim sound starts after one second of continuous trimming. Otherwise most ATR pilots would go nuts in a very short amount of time
Best regards,
Hans

I have a problem with the autopilot sound : I can only hear the default sound from the flight simulator when i shut off the AP and not the custom one from your ATR package

Why this????

I hear the AP disco sound fine hear.  Are you sure it is not the ATR one that is playing?  You can go listen to the correct ATR sound in the FS\Sound\Flight One ATR 72-500 directory.

Nope you weren't!

I have the same problem.
How did you correct it?

Tom: I am sure aswell as its the default Cessna AP Disco sound that is played and not the clacker.

Mark

Chrips . Is it the same sound that was in EW-ATR? If yes than it is not the one I get.

Using a SB Live Player 1024 over here.
And, as I said, its the default cessna sound, not the clacker I'm hearing.

Sorry to add to the confusion, but I have neither the Cessna sound nor the AP-Disco sound from the sound folder - which is typical airbus. I hear piep-piep-piep which sounded like in the ATR sim if I remember correctly - but may be misslead as I never heard any other one during development..
Happy flying!

piep-piep-piep "sounds" like the typical cessna sound.
Load up the cessna and try it out to see if its the same

Just go to the file I listed above (shows the path the file) and listen to it.  If that is what you are hearing, then you are hearing what we recorded out of the real aircraft.

I have checked F1ATR_AP_Disco.wav file and it sounds like the real ATR disconnect sound. Unfortunately when flying in FS I hear only default cessna "piep-piep-piep" sound :(

There is also another problem with missing no smoking and seat belts sings sounds in VC.

But even with these little bugs F1 ATR is one of the best FS addons I have seen, and I really enjoy flying it :)

I have correct AP disco sounds AND No Smoking/Seat Belt ding dong sounds - just used them, in fact, so something system specific going on here I think.  Did you try loading ATR from default flight as described in the manual and FAQ and see if the sounds are correct?

Yes I did (loaded default C172 with fair weather theme at KSEA airport, and then changed to F1 ATR)

I checked this sound once again and it is not from default C172 but from default Beechcraft King Air 350 (which is a turboprop aircraft just like ATR 72 - maybe this will help to find out what is wrong...)

I have No Smoking/Seat Belts sounds in 2d cockpit but not in VC.

I don't think its system specifc.
Also, in the aircraft sound folder, (Not the FS2004\Sound\ folger!) there is no AP disco sound file.
I was able to correct it manually aswell by simply copying the disco sound from the FS2004 sound folder into the aircraft sound folder and then add

[AP_DISENGAGE_SOUND]
filename=F1ATR_AP_Disco

to the existing sound.cfg file. Now it works perfectly and I don't get the piep piep sound

Seems like this line may have been missed out? I'd say if there is no AP sound defined, FS2004 will play the default (ie cessna) sound whenever it realizes an autopilot has been switched off.
I'm wondering, is it the gauge that should play the disco sound or FS2004's internal sound engine?
If its the latter case then  you may have forgotten to add that line...

Regards,

Mark
