Hi there!

I didn't find anything during a search that answered my query, so thought I'd ask!

My problem is when tuning for an ILS approach.

Let's say for example runway 31 at Prestwick which is 110.30! On the radio stack I try to tune to this but can't get the right numbers. I goes from 135. down to 118. then goes back to 135. (if you get what I mean. How can I tune to the correct frequency for the approach if the radio wont let me dial the numbers I require?

I hope someone can help! I love flying the ATR but want to make ILS approaches and not just visual approaches all the time.

Many thanks in advance!

Mick.

Hi Mick,

I think that you are not dialing at the right place. You are using the COM frequencies and not the NAV frequencies which are on the two sides of the AUTO PILOT (one for the pilot flying on the left seat and the other for the pilot on the right seat).

Regards

Jean-Pierre

Yes that sounds about right! I guess I'm just so used to the nav radio being in the same place with all the airbuses that I fly. LoL!

Thanks immensely for your help! My enjoyment of the amazing ATR is sure to triple now that I know this fact!!!

Cheer!!!Tongue

tune nav freq in the autopilot section in front of you in the main 2d cockpit, enter freq in the lower one and click on the top of the toggle switch to the right of nav freq to make it active.

click app and your done.
