Hamza,

Try running both the Configuration manager and FSX itself as Administrator. To do this, right-click the mouse on the link to open the program, and select Run As Administrator from the menu.

I suggest re-installing the aircraft in Windows Safe Mode.

The wrapper is the download version of the ATR 'wrapped' in Flight1's ecommerce/authentication software.

Hello

I've got a problem with AT72, described as "Strange LNAV problem" described here:
http://atr.flight1.net/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=3858&PN=1
It's really annoying when you've got problems with AP just after T/O.
What's important, I've got this problem right after departure, even i HDG mode.
I'm flying this plane for almost one year, and this type of issue was noticed by me by the second time... (Previously two days ago)
After SIM restart, everything has returned to normal (Working HDG, LNAV modes), however I'm not sure that it was a last time

Development team, hope you'll try to fix this as fast as it's possible, because AT72 is a really nice A/C, however because of some issues it's also quite annoying (sometime)

System: Windows 7 x64
FS: FS2004
Programms running by the time when error occured: FSInn, vroute, ATR Fuel Planner (for the first few minutes of SIM)

I don't have FS9 installed - so followed to the letter the instructions for a direct FSX install.  All ran OK, however when I try to access the aircraft I get a black screen & a dead Flight Simulator.  This happens whether I try to access the ATR from start-up, or switch over to it part way into a flight.  Running everything as Administrator.

FSX (acceleration pack)
Win 7/64
Intel i7-960
12 gig Corsair DDR3 ram
Nvidia GTS250 1024 ram

All very frustrating as this was always one of my favourite aircraft in FS2004!!!  Cry

Thanks,

Bernie

When trying to program the FMS, I get to a certain point (don't remember exactly what I was doing, but had to do with select Rte) FSX would CTD. I'd like to have it programed and be able to use it for my flights...

I have searched the forums and seen this issue in more then one post, but no replies have made with fixes or even if this issue is being looked into. I have added the actual error message given, unlike the others, in hopes to find a fix.

 The following error came up:

 Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
  Application Name: fsx.exe
  Application Version: 10.0.61472.0
  Application Timestamp: 475e17d3
Fault Module Name: F1ATR.DLL <---------------------- This is the Culprit??
  Fault Module Version: 2.0.0.1
  Fault Module Timestamp: 466d4718
  Exception Code: c0000005
  Exception Offset: 00057439
  OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.48
  Locale ID: 1033

How can this be fixed?

Windows 7 pro 64-bit, Core2Duo E6850 3.00GHz, 4GB memory, ATI HD5770 1GB GDDR5 memory

EDIT: Forgot..FSX SP2, Acceleration not installed

I "Feel your Pain" because i too also posted in this forum asking for help on similar issues.  I've come to the conclusion that no one is listening, that no help is forthcoming and that I might as well talk to a rock as post anything here.

I sincerely hope your problem gets resolved.

There were some posts a while back about anti virus deleting or quarantine-ing the file F1ATR.dll.

Can you see if the file has been modified since you installed the ATR ?

Is your AV set-up to notify you before it deletes/modifies files ?

Also have a look at this page, it says vista but applies to Win7 too... especially the bit about UAC and where (not) to install FS9/FSX  http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=vista

pschlute, I checked and found my AV hasn't touched it. It hasn't been modified since I installed it either.  I also looked over the info from the link you give, but nothing there addresses the issue. UAC is not active on my computer as I will not have any of that and I don't have FSX installed into the default location.. Guess I'll just have to truck on without a fix or another possible solution..
